11th Annual Picklefest tourney this weekend

LAKE HAVASU CITY – It is true what everyone is saying about pickleball being the fastest growing sport, and the Lake Havasu City Pickleball Association (LHCPBA) remains to keep up the pace as growing interest in the games continue to thrive.
The goal for the sports club to expand the competitions in Lake Havasu as this year’s event will welcome all skill levels. All games will be in round robin format with playoffs. Three age groups will be eligible to compete. From ages 12 to 49, 50 to 60, and ages 65 and older.
Last year more than over 200 competitors participated in the tournament and this year’s challenge expects even more players.
This is an annual three-day event where the kick off date will be for men and women’s mini singles, day two is reserved for mixed doubles, and the finale games with the men’s and women’s mini singles games will return. More information about exact start times and contact info can be obtained by visiting Pickleball Club | Lake Havasu City Pickleball Association.
This 11th year PickleFest will be returning this weekend beginning on Friday, February 28 lasting until Saturday, March 3 at Dick Samp Memorial Park. These events are free for all spectators to view so come on out and see for yourself pickleball history being made.
