Wreck and run

KINGMAN – A Kingman man fled on foot after crashing his vehicle into a fence along the Beale Street exit from Stockton Hill Road Wednesday. The incident before 8:00 a.m. was highly visible to those who commute to work in the downtown area.

Police Chief Rusty Cooper said Matthew Clawson was bleeding when officers located and apprehended him just a few blocks from the accident. He was booked into jail for driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
