Dear Editor,
Re: Jack Ehrhardt’s missive that I had so strongly offended his sensibilities. I will try to explain but will not apologize for my thoughts.
I am puzzled by the comment about my victimhood. I do not feel victimized in the slightest measure.
I was born into and raised to adulthood in a staunchly Democrat household, so I know and appreciate full well the feelings and sentiments therein. I changed, as I aged, to the other side of the aisle.
I have watched for well over a half century, the infiltration and co-opting of the Democrat party by communists who use the platform to subvert the very meaning of the word Democrat. I further believe they (the communists) will destroy America if allowed.
As to comments about my demeaning of women, the only women I spoke of were “the Squad” and the filthy mouthed Rashida Tlaib. I cannot agree that they are women of accomplishment as they are, more accurately, agents of destruction. I stand by my comments regarding those five. There are many great and powerful women in our government and in homes and businesses throughout America, these five do not deserve to stand in their shadows.
I regret upsetting a good man’s sensibilities, I do not regret my words.
I greatly appreciate the freedom granted me by The Standard newspaper to state my opinions.
