Woman charged with attempted murder after stabbing boyfriend

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City police say a local resident was arrested Monday for stabbing her boyfriend during an argument at their home in the 1800 block of Arena Drive. Officers responded at 8:00 p.m. and paramedics transported the 41-year-old victim to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said 43-year-old Jennifer Morris was arrested and jailed for attempted murder by domestic violence.

“The couple reportedly had an argument and Morris attempted to stab the victim several times in the neck, but the victim was able to defend himself,” Fromelt said. She said the man sustained cuts to his arms when he blocked the knife strikes.
