Three bands scheduled for upcoming summer concert season

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The summer nights in Lake Havasu will be one filled with sizzling music with the Summer Cool Down Concert Series scheduled to happen next week. The London Bridge Resort is well known for its ongoing entertainment for the community and visitors with events like dueling pianos, art activities, and even magic shows.

The resort will be providing three concerts this season with three tribute bands you will not want to miss. The kick-off show will be a concert provided by cover band Ship Happens.

It may appear as though you’re viewing the cast of the ‘Love Boat” as the group’s performance attire is that of captain hats and jackets directly from the crew of a cruise ship. Come sail away with the six-member group who will be performing songs from the ‘70s and ‘80s by popular bands and musicians such as The Doobie Brothers, Toto, Boz Scaggs, and plenty more memorable tunes of the era.

Two weeks after their performance, the season will welcome tribute band Fleetwood Max who will hit the stage to sing more favorable songs. In case you haven’t guessed it already, Fleetwood Max honors the music of legendary group Fleetwood Mac. You will truly feel like you are at an actual Fleetwood Mac concert as the five-member group bears a striking resemblance to the iconic band, but let’s not forget the tunes. The cover band will be engaging the audience with favorites like, ‘Dreams, Don’t Stop, and Go Your Own Way.’ The tribute band doesn’t leave out the group’s historic ballads like ‘Little Lies, Landslide, and Gypsy.’

Lastly, the summer concert season will be topped off with the music of Jumpin Jack Flash, the tribute band that pays homage to the music of The Rolling Stones. If you missed the Rolling Stones epoch, the performances of cover band Jumping Jack Flash will throw you back into a time period where the band’s historic hits were originally formed. This cover band has been previously referred to as “the next best thing to the actual Stones,” and has been invigorating audiences to for two decades by singing mega hits by the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famers like, ‘I Can’t Get No Satisfaction, Gimme Shelter, It’s Only Rock N’ Roll,’ and plenty of other famous Rolling Stones favorites.   Food trucks will be at each show and tickets can be purchased by visiting Purplepass – The easy cloud-based ticketing solution. You can also buy a three-show pass when you purchase before July 13, and with that, you will be eligible to receive a 15% discount. Jumpin’ Jack Flash’s performance will be on Saturday, August 3; Fleetwood Max’s show is scheduled for Saturday, July 27; while Ship Happens will launch this year’s concert season on Saturday, July 13.
