Boutique will host scavenger hunt for small business

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Great news for all shopaholics and fashionistas.  Define Boutique will be hosting a scavenger hunt that will spotlight some of Lake Havasu’s most distinctive small businesses.  

Owner of Define Boutique Kristina Winstead moved to Lake Havasu 17 years ago. Winstead’s business at first debuted as a parttime popup store at The Shops of Lake Havasu location. 

The store’s clothing and accessory products continued to attract local shoppers so much so that the entrepreneur moved her business

LAKE HAVASU CITY – I Love Lake Havasu is now seeking news correspondents to be a part of their Youtube news channel. Formally known as The Bridge Lake Havasu, the media company has turned nonprofit and has changed their name to, I Love Lake Havasu.

11th annual golf tourney to benefit Kiwanis

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Kiwanis of Lake Havasu will be swinging in their charitable ways into September at this year’s Krazy “5 Iron” Golf Tournament. The nonprofit was founded upon creating public events that the community can participate in showing that, “a little help” still goes a long way.  

Kiwanis has a solid reputation for building playgrounds, stocking libraries, and raising funds for backpacks to be filled with school supplies. The nonprofit’s last sporty fundraiser took place this past July with their vintage cartoon bowling tournament.

Resort offers two art classes each week

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu’s London Bridge Resort has all sorts of craft classes for those wanting to create their own works of art. About seven years ago the classes were launched by former Long Beach California resident Debbie Ward who retired to Havasu in 2016.  

The Former Informative Technical Engineer began attending Havasu’s ongoing paint night classes taught at Pam Reinke studio located in Havasu’s English Village. Ward enjoyed the classes so much, she applied and was recruited to teach at the resort twice a week.
