Geffery Leon Force

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Geffery Leon Force on September 16, 2024. He was 65 years old.

Geff was born in Ontario, Ca in 1959. He grew up in Mira Loma, Ontario and Alta Loma California. He attended Alta Loma High School. After high school Geff was a pumpman for Cel-Crete and an operator of O.H. Cruse, but ultimately obtained his CDL and had a 30-year career in OTR Trucking. He amassed a 3,000,000-mile safe driving record. Geff was an avid fan of auto racing, aviation, aerospace along with hiking, fishing and camping.

William Robert “Bill” Blake III

The owner of the Blake Ranch cattle company, William Robert “Bill” Blake III, was called to our heavenly father at age seventy-seven on September 9 after a battle with Acute Meyloid Leukemia.  

Bill was born in Kingman, Arizona where he attended grade school and graduated from Mojave County high school in 1965 and the University of Arizona in Tucson in 1970. Bill has always been an outstanding Rancher and member of the Mohave  County community. Despite the unexpected death of his father, William “Bob” Blake Jr.

Grace Charlene Graeber

Grace Charlene Graeber, of Bullhead City, died Thursday, August 22, 2024. She was 100. Mrs. Graeber was born Sept. 13, 1923 in Fairview, Montana. The family contact is her granddaughter Deborah J. Czimbal. Internment was at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home in Kingman.

Joan Barkhurst

Joan Barkhurst was born 1933 in Newcastle, Wyoming.  She was the youngest daughter of Daniel and Helen Thomson.  She passed away peacefully at home on August 21st, 2024 in Kingman Arizona.  

One of her greatest joys as a girl was riding bareback on her horse Prince while exploring the mountains around her family’s ranch home. 

She attended nurse’s training at a Catholic Teaching Hospital in North Dakota, received her RN (Registered Nurse) degree and loved this career her entire life.
