Claudia Navarro Byerly

April 19, 1937 – April 21, 2025

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Claudia, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Claudia was born in Flagstaff, Arizona and is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Pauline Navarro and her son Mark Byerly.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 yrs, Donnie Byerly.

Claudia was blessed with 5 daughters and their spouses, Henrietta and Ernie Colwell, Geraldine and John Albanese, Loretta and Mike Poore, Patricia Jacques and Randy Collins, and Jennifer and Brandon Wilcox.  One son, Ron Jacques and his partner Pam Richie.

Claudia is lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren: Phelan, Katrina, Taylor, Jordan, David, Joshua, Jeremiah, Rhianna, Tristen, Lillyanna, Mark, Alec, Blake and Mckenna and 11 great- grandchildren.

She enjoyed finishing silver and turquoise jewelry, tending to her roses and flowers in the garden and playing the piano. In her youth, she played alongside her dad while he played the saxophone.

Above all, Claudia had a deep love for her children and family. She was fiercely proud of each of them and held their joys and struggles close to her heart. Her warmth extended to her cats whom she adored. Her gentle nature and nurturing spirit were felt not only by the people in her life but by every pet curled up on her lap.
