County Treasurer offers new bid process for back tax properties

MOHAVE COUNTY – There is a new bid process that allows for Over-the-Counter (OTC) sale of unsold tax deeded parcels that were previously available for purchase at a Tax Deed Sale. The outcome of this process is that the individual is purchasing land, not a lien. This new OTC bid process will begin this September and end November 30. Starting in 2025, this process will then be available annually between April 15 and November 30.

MCC Kingman Campus student awarded the Empowering Diversity Scholarship

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College student Faith Ladson has been awarded the Empowering Diversity Scholarship from the Fiesta Bowl Organization and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. She was awarded $5,500 to go towards continuing her education. Of the 15 post-secondary scholarship recipients, Ladson was the only student awarded the scholarship that is attending a community college in Arizona.
