LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu’s London Bridge Resort has all sorts of craft classes for those wanting to create their own works of art. About seven years ago the classes were launched by former Long Beach California resident Debbie Ward who retired to Havasu in 2016.
The Former Informative Technical Engineer began attending Havasu’s ongoing paint night classes taught at Pam Reinke studio located in Havasu’s English Village. Ward enjoyed the classes so much, she applied and was recruited to teach at the resort twice a week.
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College’s Lake Havasu Campus has no shortage of Community Education classes aimed at keeping kids learning and engaged throughout the school year. From ceramics and voice classes to holiday-themed offerings and ballet, MCC has families covered!
Introduction to Children’s Ballet is for children ages four to 15, and involves learning basic ballet steps and vocabulary. The course focuses on conditioning, proper alignment, core and leg strength, and flexibility
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation invites all individuals, groups, and businesses interested in participating in the upcoming Fall Fun Fair to attend one of the scheduled committee meetings on Wednesday, September 4, at either 9 a.m. or 5:30 p.m., at the Aquatic Center in Room 155/156, located at 100 Park Avenue.
The Fall Fun Fair is a time-honored community fundraiser, benefiting non-profits, PTAs, PTOs and service groups.

The founders of the nonprofit Steve Baird and Stacy Lee are two former veterans dedicated to connecting those who have served our country through their ongoing activities.

HAVASU – With September approaching Lake Havasu, many of the town’s clubs will be resuming their usual activities and meetings. For fishing enthusiasts, they are in luck, as the Southwest Outfitters Kayak Fishing Club will be having a meeting next Saturday.
The fishing club was started by Southwest Outfitters owner Justin Butel because of his love for Hobie kayaks, fishing, and the great outdoors. The club’s ongoing events and activities are filled with fish opens and competitions.
