Historic Ghost Walks this weekend
KINGMAN – Come celebrate a long-standing Kingman Halloween tradition with Beale Street Theater, the annual Historic Ghost Walks in Downtown Kingman Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19. The walking tours include actors and performers who relate ghost stories from Kingman’s past. MCC brings back Bighorn Trek event to Kingman Campus
MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is hosting its third annual Bighorn Trek event for high school students, community members, MCC students and community partners. The event is from 9 AM-1 PM, Wednesday, Oct. 16, on the MCC Kingman Campus, 1971 E. Jagerson Ave. The event is free to attend.
The event will showcase MCC programs and resources, community resource partners, higher education transfer partners and workforce agencies.
County Fair grows in attendance, revenue
KINGMAN – The 2024 Mohave County Fair was a huge success, surpassing the 2023 event. Last year’s 2023 Fair attendance was 21,668 people and the grand total income was $165,534.
Parks Administrator Jeremy Palmer reports this year’s attendance was 1,444 more for a total of 23,112. The revenue was substantially higher at $261,127.25.
