Kingman Police Department 51st Annual Pumpkin Patrol

KINGMAN – The 51st Annual Pumpkin Patrol will be accepting donations of individual candy or cash donations to fund giving out for this year’s Halloween. Donations will be accepted from now until October 24. You may drop off candy or monetary donations at the Kingman Police Department, 2730 E Andy Devine Ave, Monday through Thursday between seven a.m. and six p.m. You may mail donations to the department or make other arrangements if necessary. Cowboy Carnival; September’s First Friday rounding it up

KINGMAN – On September 7, Kingman held September’s First Friday starting at 5:30 up until the party died down. Keeping this month’s theme; Cowboy Carnival, many local country artists such as Dessert Sky at the Beer Garden and Shane Zen could be found scattered around Beale Street; Other artists could be found in many more areas of Beale Street, including The Cellar Door, Rickety Cricket Brewing, and West of 3rd. The Kingsmen Rodeo community could be found on the Community Block between Third and Fourth Street

Third Annual Tomato Quest to be held at Locomotive Park

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Cooperative Extension Office will hold a Tomato Quest harvest festival in downtown Kingman. The event will be Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Locomotive Park, 310 W. Beale St.

The community is invited to attend the festival with will include locally grown tomatoes and information on growing them. There will be contests, giveaways, local vendors, and kids’ games to make an afternoon the entire family can enjoy.
