Elks Lodge fishing event brings special needs community together for annual outing

Nearly 200 members of the Special Needs Community gathered for the annual Fishing for Smiles event, sponsored by the Kingman Elks Lodge.
KINGMAN – Kingman Elks Lodge #468 is planning their annual Fishing for Smiles event (FFS). This is a free event for community youth.
KINGMAN – The annual Fishing for Smiles event just outside Kingman will be held on two separate days this year. Special Needs Day will be Tuesday, May 12 and will be catch-and-release.
KINGMAN – Kingman Elks Lodge #468 and Mohave Sportsman Club will be hosting two annual Fishing for Smiles events in May. The Youth Day Fishing for Smiles event for kids ages 5-15 will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A Special Needs Community event will also be held on May 20. Both events will be held at the Dunton Ranch, located on Fort Rock Road, east of Kingman.
