Signups open for Annual Fishing for Smiles Event

KINGMAN – Kingman Elks Lodge #468 is planning their annual Fishing for Smiles event (FFS). This is a free event for community youth.

Preregistration is required and will be held at Smith’s Food & Drug, 3490 Stockton Hill Rd, on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you miss the registration date at Smith’s, please contact the Elks Lodge Office at 928-753-3557 or stop by the Lodge at 900 Gates Ave, Kingman.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will include a free barbecue lunch, snacks and drinks for all attendees.

This year there will be awards for three lucky “Fisherkids” with trophies, one for the heaviest, one for the longest, and a new one this year for heaviest stringer weight (three fish limit).
