KINGMAN — Beginning June 9, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will begin to gather approximately 1,100 wild burros from the Alamo, Big Sandy, and Havasu herd management areas, also referred to as the Three Rivers Complex, in northwestern Arizona. The objective of the gather is to bring the population closer to the Appropriate Management Level (AML), implement fertility control as well as address nuisance and public safety issues. KINGMAN – Fire managers from the Bureau of Land Management Colorado River District are planning to conduct prescribed burning in the Hualapai Mountains, 20 to 25 miles southeast of Kingman between mid-March and mid-April 2025, pending appropriate weather and fuel conditions.
