Summer Lovin “Empty the Shelter” program begins

The kids are out of school and there will be more time to spend with family. Why not add a four-legged friend to the home this summer? During the entire month of June, the Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) shelter is hosting a “Summer Lovin – Empty the Shelter” program, sponsored by Swanty’s of Bullhead City.

Be sure to bring in the advertisement from the Mohave Valley Daily News or tell ACW staff the referral by TV2-KLBC. Interested pet owners will receive a discounted adoption price of just $30! The price includes first core and rabies vaccinations. Plus, Bullhead City residents will receive a one year pet license for free! All dogs and cats will have to be spay/neutered by a veterinarian before going home.

The Animal Care and Welfare shelter is located at 2270 Trane Road. Hours are Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.
