Some 11,000 fentanyl pills seized in bust

LAKE HAVASU CITY – An investigation of fentanyl sales in Lake Havasu City has produced a significant seizure and an arrest. Police report a traffic stop was conducted at about 2:50 p.m. on Sept. 19 in the 2100 block of McCulloch Boulevard North.

A search was conducted after police K-9 Echo alerted during an open-air sniff. Detectives confiscated about 11,000 suspected fentanyl pills, a usable quantity of methamphetamine and some drug paraphernalia.

The police department said the street value of the fentanyl is about $70,000.

The driver of the vehicle, James Krantz, 46, was arrested. The Lake Havasu resident was booked into the Adult Detention Center in Kingman for various drug offenses.
