Senior Enrichment Center to close January 15

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Senior Enrichment Center will be closed on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The closure will allow Mohave Electric Cooperative Crews to relocate electric equipment at the facility to provide power to the upcoming Adult Activities Center and the existing Senior Nutrition Center. The Enrichment Center will reopen the following day, Thursday, January 16.

“While the equipment is being moved, the facility will be without power,” explained Bullhead City Senior Services Program Manager Kim Cool. “We’ve made arrangements to ensure that those who need food will still be fed.”

Congregate lunch clients may obtain a grab-and-go lunch the day of the closure from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the front of the Senior Nutrition Center.

The Senior Enrichment Center, located at 2275 Trane Rd in Bullhead City, is currently being expanded to add 9,000 square feet of space. The new facility will have dedicated rooms for meetings, games, hobby activities, exercise, and multipurpose space. The expansion is expected to open in February.

For more information about the closure or how to receive a congregate lunch on January 15, call the Senior Enrichment Center Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at (928)-763-0193.
