Second bridge feasibility discussed at council

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Buzz of the second bridge feasibility study was discussed at Lake Havasu’s city council meeting last week. The next steps of this project will include the following plans;

Stakeholders will be holding a meeting in early to late of June along with a public open house in that same time period.  Coordinating with state parks on this plan is also in the works.

However, the final study of this will be taking place this June.  A motion was passed by council members for the Havasu Foothills Estates development to include Tract 2390.

This recommendation was made this past April by the city’s planning commission.  This plan will allow a reduced minimum lot size of 12,000 square feet per lot with a maximum number of lots that cannot exceed twenty two total lots.

The city will enter an agreement with General Contract Inc for the Downtown Catalyst rebid project.  The area of this project will be at Querio Dr. and MCCulloch Boulevard North.

This is scheduled to come into effect in nine months and should be completed by May of 2025.  This was passed by members of council in the amount of $2,646,465.
