Response to Mr. Jones

Dear Editor,

Mr. Jones, yes, I Lloyd Dickson, am a parrot. A parrot who prefers to get his information from reliable trustworthy sources. Sources like virologists, medical professionals, M.D.s, and the like. Not from dubious social media sources here just about anything can be posted anonymously. To suggest I have done no research calls for speculation on your behalf, a hallmark of social media.

As a retired medical professional who spent more than 20 years in the field, I can attest there are plenty of lethal substances in medicines which can harm or kill. The polio vaccine contains attenuated (inactivated) polio virus—but I bet you received it. The tetanus vaccine contains formaldehyde, but I’ll bet you also have been inoculated with D.P., T. diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus. Smallpox also contains live vaccina virus, and likewise you’ve probably been vaccinated for that as well. Several vaccines are required for attending public schools and if you were ever in the military you were lined up and given numerous vaccines.

A check of the CDC website V.A.E.R.S. (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) lists 6968 deaths attributed to the 3 Covid-19 vaccines as of 26 August 2021. Not the 45,000 as you state, James Jones. I urge readers to google the information. What we do know is the U.S. is rapidly approaching a million deaths resulting from Covid-19 infections, and yes, occasional breakthroughs do occur.

As for the patent U.S. 10,130,701 B2, it is true Pirbright (a Surrey England company which studies infectious diseases in animals) has a patent on coronavirus, which causes SARS CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome), as well as the common cold and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome). Pirbright does not have a patent on the Covid-19 virus as you suggest. Again, I urge readers to google the patent number. In fact, google says there is no patent on the Covid-19 virus. Mr. Jones, stating there is a patent on Covid-19 is disingenuous at best.

Now for Bill and Melinda Gates, and your comment on population control. There is a video on social media which shows a man saying, “in the words of Bill Gates, at least 3 million people need to die.” Problem is, there is no video of Gates actually saying this. Makes me seriously question the critical thinking of anyone perpetuating this falsehood especially since the Gates have 3 children of their own, Jennifer, Phoebe, and Roy. Seems to me they do not actually endorse that line of thinking or they would have no children.

No, sir, James Jones. Continue to exercise your opinion. Personally, I will continue to follow sound medical principles, but I still don’t think regurgitating conspiracy theories and questionable information to others is worthwhile, especially when it is so easy to check the facts.

As for the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Alliance, google describes it as a “small U.S. organization of physicians and former journalists formed in April 2020 that has advocated for various ineffective treatments for Covid-19.” Need I say more?
