Going over the manifesto that is being proposed by the democratic party. I am amazed on how they are going to pay for this miracle plan that is supposed to build us back better. It seems that no matter how you look at it and no matter how you try to be fair, some of these plans are impossible to imagine. Most of them are just plain dumb and will put us right back to the Obama days.
Do we want to go back to the mandates and pay when we do our taxes if you don’t have insurance? They don’t word it that way and have changed the wording but if you read between the lines, that’s where were heading with their changes. I fail to see how they will be able to build back better without raising taxes. In fact, they don’t mention that part at all. Some people actually think that some of their ideas sound good which reminds me of a story I heard that settles a lot of questions.
A father was trying to explain to his children that a little bit of bad is not good, no matter how it looks. They presented their views and told their father that just because some suggested sexual content are in a movie, didn’t necessarily make it a bad movie. Back and forth it went. The father saw that he was outnumbered and decided to try another approach. The next day, the father had made a cake for the kids. Being excited to have this treat, the father gave each kid a big piece each. He says to them “Before you tackle that cake, I want to let you know that I added another ingredient. It’s just a pinch of dog poop. In fact, you won’t even taste it because it’s so small of an amount that you can’t see it and I made sure to mix it in really, really good so you can’t even smell it or see it. It doesn’t even make the cake look bad either does it? Now, with that said, dig in!”.
Take the time to consider these “Changes” to build America better. Progress is not necessarily what it looks like in this proposal and we are truly in a position to make a change. Through our votes.
Maybe if you think that a few changes in this manifesto are good, we should make you a cake with one little change in the ingredients.
