Pavement work on SR 66 in Peach Springs scheduled through May 10

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for brief traffic delays for pavement work along a 34-mile section of State Route 66 north of Kingman in Peach Springs.

Work started today (Monday, April 22) and will continue weekdays from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, May 10:

  • SR 66 is reduced to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound travel between Hackberry and Hyde Park Road (mileposts 83 – 117).
  • On-site flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.
  • A 12-foot vehicle width restriction is in place.
  • The speed limit is reduced.

ADOT advises drivers to be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone while crews apply a pavement sealant.
