Pavement Preservation Projects to Continue with Phase II

KINGMAN – Beginning the first week of September and continuing through the month of October, the City of Kingman will be conducting pavement preservation projects throughout the city. Grading, different roadway seal applications, and striping will be completed during different phases throughout the two-month period. The tentative areas will be posted weekly to the City of Kingman social media pages. Work is expected to be completed as scheduled, weather permitting. Additional project information can be found on the City of Kingman website under Kingman Area Streets.

Assistant Public Works Director Jack Plaunty said, “This is the second phase in the street repairs, maintenance, and improvements plan. There will be a lot of work happening in a short amount of time and we appreciate the community’s patience as we work hard to get these projects completed.”

The City of Kingman urges motorists to pay extra attention while driving in and around work zones, maintenance vehicles, and encourages the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle.
