Parks & Rec director speaks at Rotary

Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s first meeting of the new year on January 3 was Mike Meersman, Director of Parks, Recreation, Golf and Aquatics for the City of Kingman (shown above with club Rotarian Tom Clark). Among the topics discussed, Meersman noted a shade structure is being added at Firefighters Park, a new 2-1/2 mile trail, White Cliffs Wagon Wheel Trail, is in the works, and Fort Beale Loop Trail has been upgraded and its parking area increased.
