Lowe promoted to Corporal

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the promotion of Jason Lowe to the rank of Corporal. He has demonstrated that he has the knowledge and experience to excel in his new rank at the Adult Detention Facility. Lowe is recognized as a valuable member of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. He started his career as a Detention Officer in January of 2017, where he has excelled in his assigned duties. Patricia Mary Stipsky

Patricia Mary (Rickert) Stipsky was born at the Methodist hospital in downtown Los Angeles, California in 1937 and passed away at Kingman Regional Medical Center on February 12, 2024. She was 86 years old. Patricia (Pat) liked to deny that she was born in Kingman since her parents, Val and Hazel Rickert, traveled to Los Angeles for the birth of their only child, returning after two weeks. Technology recycling event set

KINGMAN – The Mohave Community College Computer Club, MC4, will be hosting a technology recycle drive on Saturday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Kingman Public Works yard, 3700 E. Andy Devine Ave. They will be accepting computer components, recorders, MP3, video players, DVD and VHS players, digital cameras, radios, telephones, and printers. They will not be accepting TVs, car batteries or items containing freon. Club members will be available to remove hard drives from computers.
