Police seek missing person

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. On Tuesday (12/28), Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office received a possible Missing Person report from the family of Lisa Marie McKeever, 39 of Kingman. Lisa was last seen in the Kingman area on Saturday (12/25), at approximately 1:00 PM and failed to show to a family Christmas event as planned. Battle with cops ends in arrest

BULLHEAD CITY –  Bullhead City police had difficulty apprehending a local resident after responding to a domestic violence report in the 1900 block of Clearwater Drive. Daniel Wilson, 40, reportedly fled the residence before officers arrived at 7:15 a.m., Nov. 25. Agency spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said police learned that Wilson had argued with his girlfriend and broke things in their home. Officers located Wilson as he was jumping over several fences in the neighborhood. “He actively resisted police arrest and a taser was deployed. MOHAVE COUNTY – Arizona Governor Doug Ducey is allowing two weeks more for those eligible to apply for appointment to the vacancy created by the end of June retirement of Division 1 Mohave County Superior Court Judge Charles Gurtler. The Fort Mohave resident who presides in Bullhead City is wrapping up a 27-year career on the bench. The initial application deadline for the position was May 28 and Ducey spokesperson C.J. LAKE HAVASU CITY – First Baptist Church Pastor Luis Hernandez of Lake Havasu City has been named the 2020 First Things First La Paz/Mohave Region Champion for Young Children.
