County attorney Matt Smith is promoting Esplin to succeed Bob Taylor. William Edmund Forsyth of Kingman passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was 78 years old. The family contact is his wife, Cheryl Forsyth. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
The Arizona Department of Transportation has been granted environmental approval to continue moving forward with plans to improve the US 93 / Interstate 40 (I-40) west Kingman traffic interchange. A “Finding of No Significant Impact” was issued after the project team completed a Final Environmental Assessment for the project, which was prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Final Environmental Assessment also includes comments from the community received through the public hearing on May 28, 2020. The document is posted on the project website at azdot.gov/WestKingmanTIP, under the Final Environmental Assessment tab.

KINGMAN -The Kingman City Council has approved manager Ron Foggin’s request to send a letter of support to Arizona’s Congressional delegation in support of an initiative to designate Route 66 as an Historic Trail.
