No injuries in two-vehicle crash

GOLDEN VALLEY – Golden Valley Fire Battalion Chief David Martin, Captain Boyd Lewis and firefighters from Station #11, along with DPS law enforcement, responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m., today, at the intersection of Highway 68 and Aztec Drive.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they observed one vehicle was blocking the fast lane of westbound Highway 68 and the other vehicle was blocking the eastbound lane of Highway 68.

According to officials on scene, the silver four-door Nissan was traveling eastbound on Highway 68 when the white four-door Ford traveling northbound on Aztec Drive failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with the Nissan.

Neither of the drivers were injured and the exact official cause of the accident is under investigation by DPS.
