No injuries in Havasu house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Fire caused extensive damage to a Lake Havasu City residence Monday. Personnel from the Lake Havasu City fire department responded at 1:00 p.m. to the fire in the 2000 block of College Drive.

“The first arriving fire company reported smoke coming from the side garage door and heavy fire to the rear of the residence extending into the house,” a news release stated. Crews brought the fire under control within 13 minutes.

Occupants evacuated the home safely and no injuries were reported. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
