No injuries in Havasu garage fire 

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, a fire was reported by neighbors in the 2900 block of Daytona Avenue. Neighbors discovered a fire in the detached garage and attempted to extinguish it with water hoses. The first arriving fire company reported smoke and flames coming from the garage door.

Lake Havasu City Fire Department gained control of the fire in 15 minutes. The occupants evacuated the house safely. There were no reported injuries to the firefighters. Crews remained on the scene an additional hour conducting salvage operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
