No injuries in Bullhead City blaze

No one was injured in a residential structure fire in Bullhead City. Fire department personnel responded just before 9:00 a.m. on March 28 to the incident in the 1400 block of Plata Drive.

“Crews quickly confirmed that all of the occupants had safely evacuated the residence along with their small dogs,” said fire department spokeswoman Lori Viles. “Firefighters were able to
extinguish the blaze quickly but noted heavy smoke damage throughout the home.”

After clearing the scene, firefighters returned at 1:00 to extinguish materials as the fire rekindled. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
