LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists with travel plans on State Route 95 in Lake Havasu City his month to plan ahead and expect delays of up to 15 minutes for pavement-treatment work.
Work is scheduled to occur now through Friday, Nov. 22, and from Sunday, Nov. 24, through Wednesday, Nov. 27. North- and southbound lane closures are scheduled to occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., from McCulloch Boulevard South (milepost 177) to McCulloch Boulevard North (milepost 182).
The restrictions are necessary so crews can place a sealant over the existing asphalt, which helps to protect and extend the life of the highway pavement.
ADOT reminds motorists to use caution around construction personnel and equipment, slow down and be prepared to merge safely into the open travel lane
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
