Multiple suspects arrested following burglary investigation

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Young people trashed an unoccupied home in Lake Havasu City last Thursday. Suspects reportedly fled on foot and in vehicles as police began arriving at the home in the 2800 block of Palisades Drive at 10:40 p.m.

“Officers were able to stop one of the vehicles leaving the residence and during the course of the stop, learned that the vehicle was stolen from the residence,” said detective Chris Angus. “Officers also located several items inside the vehicle that were later determined to be stolen from the Palisades Drive residence.”

Occupants of the stolen vehicle, Logan Frazier, 19, and Clayton Frazier, 22, were arrested. The Lake Havasu City residents were booked into jail for burglary and unlawful use of means of transportation.

Clayton Frazier was also charged with possession of narcotic drugs and misconduct involving weapons.

Angus said the driver of a Red Jeep Cherokee tried to strike a patrol vehicle when officers attempted to prevent it from fleeing the scene.

“There was no contact made between the two vehicles and the Jeep Cherokee continued to flee from officers where a pursuit was initiated,” Angus said. “Spike strips were deployed but did not disable the vehicle and the pursuit was terminated a short time later.”

The male juvenile driving the vehicle was later arrested for burglary, assault and unlawful flight charges. Officers are looking for a Ford Focus that was also determined to have been stolen from the home.

“The interior of the residence was damaged so severely that the repair value is estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars,” Angus said. “This investigation still remains active at this time and additional subjects are still being sought for questioning.”
