MRF to host Mohave County Sheriff candidates

KINGMAN – The public is invited to the Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) meeting on Wednesday, November 8, at 5:30 p.m. with Mohave County Sheriff candidates, incumbent Doug Schuster and Mike Gannuscio.

Each candidate will set forth their vision for the Sherriff’s Office and the reasons each believes he is the better person to serve as Sherriff.

MRF meetings are held at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center, 1776 Airway Ave. #B. The meeting room is open by 4:30 p.m. and the program begins at 5:30 p.m. Bottled water will be available and sodas/drinks from a vending machine will also be available. No food will be provided. For those desiring to eat at the Center, before or during the meeting, please bring your own food or snacks. There is an admission charge of $3 per person to assist with the meeting costs.

MRF membership is not required to attend the MRF monthly meetings. However, membership is encouraged, and as an active member you will have the opportunity to participate in pre-primary voting as to whether the MRF will endorse any Republican candidate(s) running for contested positions, and regarding referendums and initiatives. Membership applications are available at one of the monthly meetings or may be requested by contacting the individuals herein above.

At this meeting, the MRF will also be having an election of officers and directors for the upcoming year(s).  Members for one month or more who are present are entitled to vote.

Also, there is a December 13, MRF Christmas Party to which all are invited, be  at Calico’s Restaurant. Social Hour starts at 6 p.m. with the dinner at 7 p.m.  There will be entertainment, a raffle, door prizes, with an installation of Officers and Directors.
