MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College Neal Campus-Kingman held its Student Recognition Awards Ceremony Thursday, April 30 to celebrate students for their outstanding achievements inside and outside of the classroom. Students were celebrated among family, friends and employees. Students received awards for academic achievement, student club involvement and more.

Outstanding Achievement
This award is given to students who are at all stages of their educational goals, from new students to students who are graduating. Students can be in transitional courses or sophomore-level courses. Some may have high GPAs, and some may not, but all of them made great strides to accomplish a task or educational goal. Nominations are made by faculty, staff and program directors.

Members are students who, by virtue of their outstanding academic achievement, outstanding leadership, and demonstrated service to their community, have won the highly competitive undergraduate tuition scholarship offered to a select number of community college transfer students planning to attend one of the three state universities to pursue their first bachelor’s degree.
