LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man was fatally injured in a Jan. 31 traffic accident in Mohave Valley. The death of Allen Hunt, 62, Lake Havasu City, is under investigation by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Hunt was not wearing a helmet when he was ejected after his motorcycle exited Route 66 in the area of milepost 11. He was flown to a Las Vegas hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
“Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors at this time,” Mortensen said.
