LHC fire to adopt new chest compression sytem

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Last week’s Lake Havasu City Council meeting announced that the fire department will now be using the LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System. This system is a better way to administer chest compressions and can preserve circulations that are life-saving throughout lengthy resuscitation attempts. This system has been extensively studied as an effective and safe method to save lives.

Board members also announced they will be hosting an open house for the second bridge feasibility study. The event will be taking place on Monday, January 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center Gym. Learn more about Lake Havasu City Council upcoming meetings by visiting lhcaz.gov.
