Lake Havasu City partners with Military Moms to honor local service members

LAKE HAVASU CITY — Lake Havasu City has to announced a new partnership with the Lake Havasu City Military Moms to honor the brave men and women from our community who are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Through this collaboration, Military Tribute Banners will be displayed at Wheeler Park, providing residents and visitors with a meaningful way to recognize and celebrate their hometown heroes.

The Military Tribute Banner Program showcases the dedication, sacrifice, and service of local military personnel, thereby strengthening the city’s commitment to honoring those who protect our freedoms. Each banner features the service member’s name, branch of service, and a photograph reminding the community of the extraordinary individuals who call Lake Havasu City home.

“We are honored to work with the Lake Havasu City Military Moms to bring this tribute to life,” said Mayor Cal Sheehy. “These banners symbolize our deep gratitude and provide a proud and visible reminder of the heroes who serve our country and community.”

Community members who would like to recognize a service member can apply through the Military Moms organization or by completing the application available on the Lake Havasu City website at lhcaz.gov.

For details about the program, application requirements, or display timelines, please contact Lake Havasu City at 928-854-4278.
