KUSD president extends thanks for teamwork

Dear Editor,

I want to give a huge thank you and infinite amount of praise to the Kingman Unified School District Team. The administration, faculty and staff have worked tireless hours over the past weeks to ensure that the students of KUSD #20 have the best opportunities available to them during this difficult time. Teachers are working extended hours to set up curriculum plans that will prepare our students for academic success.

The information technology department is working around the clock to provide online services for our students. Food services are going above and beyond their normal duties to guarantee that our community’s children are fed. KUSD #20 has come together as a championship team: from the district office, to each school building, every principal, all staff members and the countless community members who have volunteered their time and services during this challenging time. These efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Thank you to the community for your endless support of education. Finally, thank you for the leadership of our superintendent Dr. Gretchen Dorner and her entire staff for continuing to provide our children with an educational foundation for lifelong success. I am proud to be a graduate of KUSD!

Dr. Charles J. Lucero

KUSD #20 School Board President

Kingman High School Class of 1987
