KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) recently celebrated its 10th anniversary as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. Through this membership, KRMC medical providers have direct access to Mayo Clinic resources, knowledge, and teams of specialists.

KRMC was the second health system in the nation to become a Mayo Clinic Care Network member. The network now includes over 45 health systems world-wide. As part of the network, KRMC can address more types of medical conditions at a local level, which provides our community further options for receiving advanced medical care close to home.

“We’re proud of our 10-year membership in the Mayo Clinic Care Network,” says Will McConnell, KRMC’s CEO. “Staying independent is incredibly important to us, so having this support from the Mayo Clinic has been very valuable as our health system continues to grow.”

“In the 10 years we’ve been a member, our doctors and patients have experienced the benefits firsthand,” says Ryan Kennedy, KRMC’s Chief Operating Officer. “Mayo has supported us in expanding our own services by offering their guidance and even on-site clinical education for our providers and staff.”

As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, KRMC has access to:

• AskMayoExpert

This point-of-care tool offers concise clinical information on hundreds of medical conditions and includes medical protocols, treatment recommendations, and medical references. The tool can be used wherever healthcare is provided.

eConsults

eConsults enable KRMC physicians to contact Mayo Clinic specialists for second opinions on specific patient cases when they believe additional input will benefit their patients.
