KINGMAN, Ariz. – Kingman Development Services Director Jason Moquin briefed a handful of people Wednesday, Oct. 14, about the city’s interest in annexing 3,415 acres surrounding the Kingman Airport. The petition to annex was filed April 9, and a public hearing held May 5.
Moquin said petitions were mailed out property owners in the annexation area.
He said benefits to annexation would be lower utility costs, and city services such as fire, police, etc. He said at least 50% of property owners must agree to the annexation.
The Industrial Park will remain in the county.
