Kingman Railroad Museum Annual Model Train Show

KINGMAN — The Kingman Railroad Museum will be hosting its fourth annual Model Train Show on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show brings together vendors selling both new and used model train sets, as well as many other items related to the model train hobby.

Admission is $2 for adults aged 13 and up (kids 12 and under are free). The event will be at the College Park Church, located at 1990 Jagerson Ave. in Kingman.

The Kingman Railroad Museum has been open since 2012, when the train depot was restored using grant funding. The depot was added to the Register of Historic Places in 1986 but had fallen into disrepair. Today, it is operated independently by volunteers, with the cooperation of the City of Kingman.

The Railroad Museum changes out its displays regularly, so the train setups in the museum are not always the same. Examples of trains the museum has featured in the past can be viewed on the website.

The Kingman Railroad Museum is open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 402 E Andy Devine Ave. Anyone interested in being a vendor (train-related items ONLY), please contact Spence at 530-521-9241. Tables are $10 each.
