Kingman man gets 10 years for intent to sell meth in Mohave County

Interior of courtroom

KINGMAN — Importing roughly 2-pounds of methamphetamine into Mohave County for sale and profit brings a 10-year prison term for a Kingman man. Jeffrey Morelli, 55, was sentenced shortly after entering a plea agreement on Feb. 27.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Phillip Delgado told Mohave County Superior Court judge Lee Jantzen that about 2-pounds of methamphetamine was seized from a Morelli-occupied vehicle that was stopped outside Kingman on Interstate 40 on Oct. 2, 2025.

Morelli is convicted of transportation of dangerous drugs for sale. The decade-long prison term was prescribed in the plea deal.
