Kingman Chamber hosts groundwater lunch discussion

KINGMAN – The Kingman Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free lunch discussion and     networking

opportunity with its business membership and the public about the community’s groundwater challenges in Mohave County and what can be done about it.

The meeting will be held Monday, November 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kingman Chamber of Commerce, 309 E. Beale St.

Kingman Chamber of Commerce business members, State Senator Sonny Borrelli (R   -LD30), Mohave County Supervisor Travis Lingenfelter, and other interested and impacted members of the community will be in attendance.

Groundwater challenges impact the City of Kingman and Mohave County. Over pumping of groundwater has resulted in serious challenges to the community’s business and economic success.
