KFD Captain promotes to Battalion Chief

KINGMAN – Kingman Fire Department (KFD) Captain Joey Meins has recently been promoted to the esteemed position of Battalion Chief. With a commendable two decades of experience in the fire service, Chief Meins has devoted 18 years of his career to serving the City of Kingman. On February 26, Meins will undertake the responsibility of the training division.

In an expression of admiration, KFD Chief Jack Yeager praised, “I could not be prouder of Joey and this personal accomplishment.” Yeager underscored the crucial role individuals of such dedication play in advancing and fortifying the fire department. He highlighted Meins’ commitment to personal development and mentorshiop for future generations of firefighters.
