Independence Day traffic, DUI enforcement

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department is conducting enhanced traffic and DUI enforcement during the July 4th holiday weekend, Friday July 3 through Sunday July 5. Funding for this effort is provided by a grant awarded by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department reminds everyone participating in July 4th festivities to enjoy the weekend responsibly. Participants are encouraged to arrange for a designated driver or utilize one of the many ride sharing options available throughout the city.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department’s mission is to ensure a safe and secure community. With an increased number of visitors expected in the community, we ask that you please be patient when traveling on the roadway, obey all traffic regulations, and watch for pedestrians using the crosswalks. Together, we can create a safe environment for our citizens and guests of Lake Havasu City.
