Imagination Library event is Nov. 24

KINGMAN – The Soroptimist International of Kingman will be hosting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a free book-gifting program that mails free books to children from birth to age five. There will be a kick-off event on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kingman Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave. This will be an open house where parents and grandparents will have an opportunity to sign up and register their children for the free program. Books are delivered to registered children each month from birth to age five. Residents are urged to bring their children to the event as Mrs. Claus will also be on hand for a book reading. For information email elksnani@gmail.com or SIColleenK@gmial.com. For more information on the Imagination Library go to imaginationlibrary.com.
