Hollins asks for your votes

Dear Editor,

I am the independent candidate for Mohave County District 4 Supervisor. I have lived in Golden Valley for 10 years.

Shortly after moving here I organized the Golden Valley Cactus Cleaners. We are just a small group of volunteers who clean up illegal dump sites in our community and beyond. Since we started, we have cleaned up almost one million pounds of trash and over 20,000 tires for almost 1/2 million pounds.

Some of my other issues of concern is water, roads, local food, jobs paying more than the poverty level, regenerative agriculture, affordable housing, a responsive government that wants to create and work solutions to actually have a positive effect on the problem at hand.

Government transparency is important too. Fiscal responsibility. I am currently a member of the City of Kingman Clean City Commission. I am a member of the Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club. I am a water harvesting design certified practitioner. I am the Big Sandy Natural Resources Conservation District Water Conservation Consultant.

I give presentations to organizations and groups on water harvesting. I teach water harvesting and permaculture at Mohave Community College adult education program.

If you want a District Supervisor that believes in setting the example and educating the residents on how they can work with government to fix any problem we are faced with. The government are not the fixers of all our problems, but they should be our partners.

We should be willing participants working hand on hand with the government.  That is what will keep America great. If you want a person to work with the communities in the district to solve problems, vote for Wayne Hollins as your District 4 Supervisor come the General Election in November!
