voting voting puzzle

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – On June 9, the Lake Havasu City Council adopted Resolution No. 26-3920, placing the 2026 Lake Havasu City General Plan: Shaping Our Future (“2026 General Plan”) on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot for voter ratification.

Individuals may file written arguments either in support of or in opposition to the proposed 2026 General Plan for publication in the election publicity pamphlet. Arguments must be filed with the Lake Havasu City Clerk’s Office no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5. Submissions must be provided in both written and electronic formats and comply with the Arizona Revised Statutes.

Arguments are limited to 300 words and must be accompanied by a $141 filing fee to help offset the cost of printing the election publicity pamphlet.

A complete copy of the 2026 General Plan is available on the City’s website at www.lhcaz.gov. The election publicity pamphlet will include a general description of the General Plan and its elements and will be mailed to every household in Lake Havasu City with a registered voter.
