Havasu hosts Regional Emergency Vehicle Technician Training event

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City recently hosted a regional Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) training event through the Fleet Services Division, bringing together emergency vehicle technicians and fleet professionals from communities across Arizona, Nevada, and surrounding areas, including Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Kingman, Bullhead City, Parker, and Topock.

The training provided specialized instruction on emergency vehicle systems, including hydraulics, ambulance HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics, followed by EVT certification testing. The program helps technicians maintain the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of emergency response vehicles that serve communities throughout the region.

Hosting the event provided fleet professionals with access to advanced technical training and certification opportunities while supporting collaboration and knowledge-sharing among agencies responsible for maintaining emergency response vehicles.
